onboarding video is designed to help you get started using Scaffolding Forms and Templates for Confluence by going through the steps to create an inventory database. First, to create the inventory template, go to Space Settings and then click Templates in the Look and feel section. Next, click the Create a new template button. Name the new template \"Inventory Item Template.\"\n\nNext, add the Field Group macro by typing “/field” in the template's body. Click the Scaffolding - Field Group option. The Field Group settings display. In the Field Group Name section, type the unique name of the field group used for the Reporting for Confluence app or the name used to reference the specific field group macro in other apps.\n\nWe will use the name inventory_items. Now, create a table in the template to add the inventory fields. Add the following headers to your table, creating new rows as necessary. Barcode, Item name, Description, Category, Date received, Value, and Quantity.\n\nClick Add fields. Click in each cell before you drag the following fields into the corresponding table rows: For Barcode and Item name, drag a Short text field into both rows. For Description, drag a Paragraph field. For Category, drag a Dropdown list field.\n\nThen, click Field settings in the left-side menu. Add selectable labels for the Category inventory type. For example, I added Electronics (grey), Peripherals (blue), and Office Supplies (green) by typing the name in the field, selecting the label color, and pressing Enter. You can select these options from the drop-down when the template is published.\n\nClick Add fields again, and for Date Received, drag a Date field. For Value, drag a Number field. And, for Quantity, drag a Number field. Now, click Field settings in the left-side menu and go through each field, clicking the Required checkbox to indicate that the field is required.\n\nAll the fields in this example are required. Click Insert to update all the template information, and then click Save on the page. You will now see the Inventory Item Template in Space settings \u003e Templates. You are now ready to create a new page in the documentation space.\n\nAfter the page is created, name the page after the inventory item. For example, this page name is MacBook Pro. Type “/live” to add the template macro to the page and then click the Scaffolding - Live Template option. Now, ensure the Template type is Confluence template/blueprint (it will be the default option).\n\nSince the space is the current space we are already in, you don’t have to select another space in the Space field. Select the Inventory Item Template from the Template name dropdown. Click Insert and then click Publish to update the page.
