to this tutorial on Composition Tabs for Confluence Cloud.\n\nA powerful tool that helps you enhance your Confluence pages with a more organized and user-friendly layout.\n\nToday, we'll explore how to customize your tabs and make the most of this feature.\n\nComposition Tabs offers two powerful macros for creating tabs.\n\nThe Composition - Tabs macro lets you manually create and populate tabs, and the Composition - Pages to Tabs macro automatically generates tabs from a page hierarchy.\n\nComposition Tabs also offers the Showcase macro, which is not covered in this video.\n\nLet's walk through a real-world example using our Project Phoenix page.\n\nWe've already set up some tabs.\n\nNow let's make them more effective and visually appealing.\n\nIn the macro editor, click the expand arrow on the left to access the Tab customizations panel.\n\nBy default, the tabs appear at the top of your Confluence page.\n\nTo change the position of your tabs, from the Tab position menu, select Side.\n\nYour tabs move to the left side of the page.\n\nThis can be especially useful for pages with lots of content, making navigation more straightforward.\n\nIn this example, we'll return the tabs to the Top position.\n\nLet's explore the different visual themes available.\n\nThe Default tab style option displays the tab titles in colored text.\n\nThe active tab is underlined, and the title is darker.\n\nSelecting the Top highlight option changes the active tab from underlined to overlined.\n\nIn this example, let's select the Blocks option.\n\nIt displays the tab titles and colored boxes and the active tabs box is darker.\n\nThis style works particularly well for important project pages where you want tabs to stand out.\n\nLet's adjust the visual design.\n\nTo adjust the size of your tab titles to match your content scale, change the tab font size setting from the default Small option to Medium or Large.\n\nTo customize the tab colors, use the Tabs color palette.\n\nIt offers matching color pairs, darker shades for active tabs, lighter shades for inactive tabs.\n\nLet's apply the yellow color scheme to maintain consistency with Project Phoenix's branding.\n\nNow that we are ready with the design of our tabs, collapse the Tab customizations panel and let's look at making your tabs intuitive for users.\n\nWe order the tabs by dragging them into a sequence that creates a logical flow of information.\n\nCustomize tab names in the tab name field to make them more descriptive.\n\nFor example, change Documentation to Technical Specs.\n\nRemember to save and publish your page to preserve your customizations.\n\nAnd there you have it!\n\nWe've transformed our Project Phoenix page into an intuitive, visually appealing navigation system that effectively guides users through the content.\n\nAre you ready to enhance your own Confluence pages?\n\nVisit the Atlassian Marketplace to get started with Composition Tabs and transform your Confluence pages today."}],"hls_enabled":true,"embed_options":{"opaqueControls":null,"playerColor":"336fe6","playerColorGradient":{"on":false,"colors":[["#336fe6",0],["#99d5ff",1]],"on":"false","colors":[["336fe6","0"],["99d5ff","1"]]},"plugin":{"googleAnalytics4":{"on":true,"measurementId":"G-0YQVDHCF7X","usePageGA4Config":true},"captions":{"on":"true"}},"volumeControl":"true","fullscreenButton":"true","controlsVisibleOnLoad":"true","bpbTime":"false","vulcan":true,"unalteredStillImageAsset":{"url":"https://embed-ssl.wistia.com/deliveries/061e48571e5be06a420bb4a3474fcfe8.","width":"1920","height":"1080"},"stillUrl":"https://embed-ssl.wistia.com/deliveries/061e48571e5be06a420bb4a3474fcfe8.","contrastIcons":true,"newRoundedIcons":true,"shouldShowCaptionsSettings":true},"embedOptions":{"opaqueControls":null,"playerColor":"336fe6","playerColorGradient":{"on":false,"colors":[["#336fe6",0],["#99d5ff",1]],"on":"false","colors":[["336fe6","0"],["99d5ff","1"]]},"plugin":{"googleAnalytics4":{"on":true,"measurementId":"G-0YQVDHCF7X","usePageGA4Config":true},"captions":{"on":"true"}},"volumeControl":"true","fullscreenButton":"true","controlsVisibleOnLoad":"true","bpbTime":"false","vulcan":true,"unalteredStillImageAsset":{"url":"https://embed-ssl.wistia.com/deliveries/061e48571e5be06a420bb4a3474fcfe8.","width":"1920","height":"1080"},"stillUrl":"https://embed-ssl.wistia.com/deliveries/061e48571e5be06a420bb4a3474fcfe8.","contrastIcons":true,"newRoundedIcons":true,"shouldShowCaptionsSettings":true}},"options":{}};
