was the first company to release a hybrid smartwatch back in, 2014. A hybrid smartwatch is a watch that combines the cosmetic outlook of a traditional analog watch and that integrate all the features you can find into an activity tracker or a smartwatch.\n\nWithings' mission is to empower people to take care of their health, and we do so by, helping them achieve the personal objectives while collecting medical grade data through our products.\n\nWe switched to Onshape in 2019. We needed data management system. We were looking for a more reliable solution and a way to handle our datas because Onshape has a built in PDM system, we were really interested in this solution. Previously, we often lose our design due to someone saving design on top of someone else's design. Now, with Onshape, it's saved in real time in cloud. We don't have this issue anymore.\n\nOnshape help us save money. The solution is cheaper than having an old CAD system and an old PDM system as Onshape is combining the two solutions into one single software.\n\nCurrently, at Withings, we have sixteen engineers working on Onshape. Most of them are based in Paris where we design products, but we also have engineers in Shenzhen and in Hong Kong for industrialization support. Being able to work on Onshape is great as it is cloud native system. It is really easy to share files and we are sure that the people in Hong Kong or China are getting the most recent that. For us, it's really interesting because we can have, engineer focusing on the mechanical design.\n\nWe think we'll, keep growing in the near future. Onshape, will help us to reach that goal because we intend to increase our portfolio, and we will embed more and more medical metrics within our products.\n\nI would recommend Onshape to every engineer, willing to develop products and to focus on what truly matters. Everything is integrated.\n\nEverything is on the cloud.
