Translator for Cloud can be used to move a Comala Workflow from your Server or Data Center Confluence instance into your Cloud site. You can access it through the Workflow Builder in your Data Center or Server instance. The tool translates your Workflow Template markup into Cloud-compatible JSON code. You then copy the JSON code from the Workflow Translator and add it to a space in your Confluence Cloud site.\n\nLet's have a look at the Workflow Translator in your hosted Confluence instance. It must be enabled for the instance by your Global Administrator. When enabled, you can access it in the Workflow Builder. There are a number of workflow elements that are not supported by the translator, including read confirmations, workflow triggers, and the ability for the workflow to add a page footer, a page header, or workflow instructions. Some of these are not supported in Cloud and some need to be added in Cloud.\n\nOpen the Workflow Translator for the current workflow in the Workflow Builder using the Translator button.\n\nBe aware that some migration disparities are due to the differences in Confluence and hosted functionality.\n\nThe hosted Workflow Template is displayed in the left-hand dialog box.\n\nChoose Translate to generate the JSON-compatible Cloud Workflow. As a warning, unsupported elements are highlighted in the hosted workflow markup.\n\nYou can view the JSON Cloud Template by scrolling.\n\nThe message box displays details of unsupported elements that are not currently translated.\n\nCopy the translated workflow to the clipboard and exit the Builder.\n\nNow, navigate to Space Settings on your Cloud site.\n\nOpen the Comala Document Management Dashboard and choose Create New Workflow.\n\nThis opens the Workflow Builder Visual Editor.\n\nToggle to the Code Editor, highlight and delete the existing JSON code for the starter workflow, and then paste your translated JSON code from the clipboard.\n\nYou might amend the workflow name just to indicate the different workflow in Cloud.\n\nSave the workflow and exit the Workflow Builder.\n\nThe workflow is added to the dashboard in the space.\n\nYou probably need to do some cleanup work and add the workflow elements that were not included in the translated workflow, including Workflow Triggers, which have different functionalities in Cloud.\n\nYou can edit the workflow using the Visual Editor or Code Editor.\n\nYou also need to check the Approvals in the translated Workflow, as the behavior of the assignment of reviewers is different in the Cloud.\n\nA Workflow State has a different number of parameters in Cloud.
