this video, we're going to show you how you can enhance your issue analysis by setting up a sub-task issue matrix.\n\nWe'll also go over some of the key options during setup like context, columns, and data.\n\nFinally, we'll preview how the matrix will visualize our selections before applying it. Now let's get started.\n\nFirst, let's go to a Project settings page and select the Issue Matrix Configuration option.\n\nThis will show us all the Issue Matrices we've configured for this project.\n\nYou're probably looking at a similar empty screen though, so let's start by adding a matrix.\n\nWe have a variety of matrices to choose from. However, for this video, we'll show you how to create a Sub-task matrix. The other options will have minor differences in their configuration, but in general, the process should be similar to what you're about to see. First, let's give our matrix a name and a description.\n\nNow the first major decision is at hand. We have to choose which projects this matrix should appear in. We can pick as many as we want, but for this tutorial, we'll just do these two. Linking them here also means that we can edit this matrix configuration from either project's settings menu. Now let's choose which issue types this matrix should appear in. By default, all the issue types in our selected projects are included. We can customize this selection though by choosing specific issue types from each project.\n\nNext, because we choose to do a sub-task matrix, we can choose which sub-tasks to include as well.\n\nIn the data section, we can choose what kind of data our matrix should show. This is what gives Issue Matrix an edge over the default JiraView.\n\nWe can add all the fields we need to get useful information at a glance.\n\nYeah. These will be fine. If we expect to see a lot of issues, then here, it may be wise to limit the number of issues that appear in our matrix or even just per page. Next, in the categories section, we can set up different colored flags to highlight certain issues. Let's make a category that shows costly expense requests, and let's give it a red color to better grab our users' attention.\n\nFinally, we can preview this issue matrix by selecting a ticket from which to view it.\n\nThat looks good.
